Woolly Madly Deeply

I'm working on a  pattern for a baby cardigan using the Lion Brand Amazing yarn, I chose the colour Mauna Loa as it's bright with it's oranges, pinks, purples, greens and blues and is pretty much a unisex combination.   My 11 year old son loved the bright shades.

The cardigan is modular, that means it's knitting by making shapes and joining them together as you knit.   There is a mitred square for the back, small squares for the shoulder area, garter panels for the other pieces and only a little bit of shaping.     Basically, if you can knit, purl, slip a stitch, pick up stitches and knit two together, you can knit this gorgeous cardigan and not have any sewing to do afterwards!

I'm working on sizing for it this week but the pattern will be available for download via Ravelry and our website sometime next week.  Also, if you buy the yarn and pattern as a kit you'll get a discount.

Vanna's Colors is a bulky weight, easy care, acrylic.  Great for kids clothing, chunky accessories like hats, scarves, bags, cowls and is very quick to knit.   It has a gorgeous kettle dyed look once knitted up.
