Introducing the Oddball Stash or Project Bag
At WMD we've had some large project bags manufactured to our design by a North West textiles company. They've done an amazing job of matching colours, styles and also offering different types of handle for the various uses we had in mind.
First up is the Blue/Gingham stash bag, pretty with gingham interspaced with little lovehearts and a larger heart design. These double layered bags are super thick, strong and yet light enough to carry to knitting group, on a long car journey or just for storing your odd balls of stash at home.
Colours to match your taste or decor
All the bags are made using heavyweight curtain or upholstery grade fabric and we have several colour choices. I'm loving the pink gingham with blue handles/trim (shown right). But I also like the all pink gingham project bag as its simple, clean lines are visually pleasing.
Equally pretty, with an almost Cath Kidston kind of feel to it, is the Roses design, shown below. It is a pale pink (think Country House colours here) with delicate sprays of rosebuds adorning the fabric. It reminds me of visits to grand houses and elderly friends for tea served in china cups with a slice of old fashioned seed cake.
We have a couple of the Roses bags with a matching pale pink trim, for variety, but these are selling fast.
The fabrics used are long lasting, look great and will have your stash organised (or at least looking it!) in no time.
Easy to squish into your hand luggage for a flight or car journey to take your current sweater or lap blanket project with you, or for taking to Knitting Group so you can share your latest finishing objects, magazines and books with your friends. I've added an image gallery from the day which includes the views from the churchyard where I took the photos. Hope you like them.
As a stash stoarge bag, the handle hooks nicely over a door or coat hook, the drawstring ribbon fastener is easy to open and close. The pretty colours will look amazing best of all (drum roll ......) no one will know how much yarn is actually hidden in there ..... Your secret is safe with us.
