I had an email from Mel today, she's finished her Eagle Hat and I'm really impressed with how great it looks. The knitting itself is beautiful and even, the duplicate stitch (or Swiss Darning) is also gorgeous. But guess what? She's relative new to knitting and yet tackled a few new things like the Swiss Darning, a three needle cast off and making pom poms. Her pom poms, by the way, are also super neat, maybe I need a lesson from Mel on this one?
